88rising’s Night Market Neighborhood event, presented by Johnnie Walker on November 2nd and 3rd, transformed the GUESS Jeans campus in Los Angeles into a vibrant hub celebrating Asian culture, fashion, music, and street food. The two-day event drew in fans from all over, eager to experience a slice of Asia’s famed night markets within LA’s bustling scene. 88rising is known for their music, artists, and the Head in the Clouds festival held around the world.
The campus was adorned with colorful lights, lanterns, and creative installations, immersing attendees in a sensory experience inspired by Asian street markets. A carefully curated selection of food vendors served up iconic Asian street fare, offering everything from Korean BBQ skewers to bubble tea, and unique fusion snacks that drew long lines and rave reviews. For spirits, Johnnie Walker’s booths crafted limited-edition cocktails, blending flavors with a nod to Asian ingredients. The Yuzu highball was definitely a favorite.
Fashion was also a central part of the experience, with exclusive 88rising x GUESS merchandise drops creating a buzz throughout the weekend. Attendees had the chance to pick up streetwear pieces unique to the event, including jackets, tees, and accessories that integrated Asian-inspired designs with the iconic GUESS aesthetic.

More Than Vendors
Workshops and interactive art installations also enriched the experience, allowing fans to explore Asian art, try their hand at Mahjoong, and enjoy installations by popular Asian artists. Throughout the day, movies played on the big screen where attendees could find a spot and picnic as they enjoyed them. Movies such as Past Lives, Didi, Big Hero 6, and much more. In between movies, attendees could also walk around or hang out and dance in front of the DJ Booth. They had LAYLO, JACKJACK, B., JOHN LIWAG, and more, in charge of beats. If music or movies were not what you were looking for, carnival games were available to play!
There was definitely a little bit of everything for everyone in attendance. In short, Night Market Neighborhood was more than just a market—it was a full-blown cultural celebration, immersing Los Angeles in a weekend of Asian creativity, flavors, and sounds, leaving fans excited for what 88rising has planned next.
