Phantom‘s Hanhae has released his first solo album and music video for the title track “Man of the Year”!
The music video features underground artist D.meanor. The album is called “365″ and contains 8 tracks plus the main track “The Man of the Year” which he wrote and produced himself.
He collaborated with Brand New Music label mates San E and Taewan back in April last year for the single “Let’s Quit”. Now he will reveal his official first solo album since debuting as the trio Phantom in 2011. It was also revealed that it will contain many of the collaborations that Hanhae has done with popular underground R&B, hip-hop artists recently. Through this, he will be able to show his own music style which is a little different from what we are used to seeing from Phantom.
1theK says, “[365] is the first result that HANHAE of PHANTOM is showing as a solo artist. In this album, he showed his story telling skills and flow with 8 songs. Especially he made the lyrics with detailed expressions in order to develop the story in the song. It’s a side that couldn’t be found before, and we could only see it in solo songs such as ‘Let’s Quit’. But HANHAE’s abilities are shown better in songs such as ‘It’s On Me’, ‘Over Action’, ‘Make it warm’ and the title song ‘Man of the Year’ where the song describes the situation in detail. Also, the strength can be seen in songs such as ‘365’ and ‘Rock Paper Scissors’ where he talks about relationship or when it is dedicated to people around him.”
