While chosen as the new MC of MBC Music’s Show Champion, Super Junior Kangin’s inauguration will be a quiet one in light of recent events.
On January 7, MBC Music staff stated that Kangin is the new MC of Show Champion, following Kim Shin Young and Shindong, and f(x)’s Amber and T-ara’s Eun Jung.
Becoming the new MC, Kangin stated, “I hope to become an honest host who can make every episode a music festival where all the artists can become one.”
He was scheduled to put on a special stage on January 8 for his first episode, but due the passing of Leeteuk’s father and grandparents on January 6, the performance has been canceled.
