[K-Drama Review] The King 2 Hearts (2012)

The romantic MBC drama that took Korea by storm is none other then Korean drama “The King 2 Hearts”.

The drama gained much attention with the lead roles played by singer and actor Lee Seung Gi and actress Ha Ji Won. Lee Seung Gi known for his roles in dramas like “My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox” and “Shining Inheritance” while Ha Ji Won is known for her roles in dramas and movies such as “Sector 7”, “Damo” and of course the drama Korea fell in love with, “Secret Garden”.

“The King 2 Hearts” didn’t just gain it’s popularity because of the famous actors and actresses playing the lead, but also because of the amazing and unique storyline that kept the world wondering what would happen next. The storyline of what would be different if Korea had a King instead of a President and if North and South Korea got along.

This drama is great for the whole family, yet, if you don’t like violence, this might not be a great choice for you. I personally don’t enjoy much violent dramas and movies, but this drama was great because it was funny, sad, romantic and had an amazing story behind it. I personally enjoyed the drama.
