After making a splash last year with the quirky song “Bar Bar Bar,” girl group Crayon Pop is at last ready to release its first full-length album, according to local media reports yesterday.
The group’s agency, Chrome Entertainment, said the new record will most likely be released in April.
“Because we have a lot of arrangements, the date might be changed a bit from early April, but the group will come back to the scene within April,” said a Chrome official.
The group is reportedly reviewing a wide selection of songs to select the best for the new album.
“As it is going to be a full-length album, we are meticulously checking songs,” said the official.
The group is also expected to debut a new style, moving away from the goofy helmets and anime-like costumes they used in the music video and promotions for “Bar Bar Bar.”
