As self-proclaimed in their song “Chi Mat Ba Ram”, South Korean girl group, Brave Girls prove that they are indeed summer queens. The ladies who rose to fame through their song “Rollin'” years after its release, end their 1st U.S. Tour in Los Angeles on July 23rd, 2022. They held the LA leg of the tour at the historical Wilshire Ebell Theatre. Their brother group, DKB, were the first K-POP group to hold an event at the venue this year.
Brave Girls start the concert with “Thank You”
4-Member girl group, Brave Girls, take the stage in LA with their songs “Thank You”, “We Ride”, and “Don’t Meet”. They wore chic black outfits with sequins that definitely shined under the bright lights in the venue. They performed several of their hit songs throughout the night and made sure to interact with FEARLESS, their fans.
Interaction With FEARLESS
They had several interactions with their fans at their 1st U.S. Tour. The first ment was with members Yuna and Eunji while Minyoung and Yujeong went to freshen up backstage. Yuna and Eunji are the youngest members in the group so fans were happy to see the two playfully arguing on stage. They talked with fans and answered some of their questions. Eunji and Yuna said they wanted to visit Santa Monica beach, go to Universal Studios, and visit the famous Hollywood Sign. Eunji also mentioned that she wants to visit Universal Studios because she watched all the Walking Dead seasons (sadly the attraction was closed in 2020).
The youngest members also revealed that they enjoyed going out for coffee each morning during their stops.
The girls switch off so Eunji and Yuna can go cool off. The eldest members Minyoung and Yujeong come to the stage once again to interact with their FEARLESS fans. They speak about their favorite things to eat while in Los Angeles and Minyoung said her favorite thing to eat is steak. She also reveals they had In-N-Out Burger for lunch. She mentioned that it was really good. Yujeong revealed that the soondubu (Tofu Soup) is really good in the City of Angels.
The older members also speak about their travel on this tour and mentioned that on the way to Denver, there was a lot of turbulence and staff told them it was very scary. Yujeong made everyone laugh by revealing the members missed out because they were asleep. Also revealed through this concert, if they had a U.S. promotion, the concept they would definitely want is sexy as the American fans seem to like that concept the best. Meanwhile, Minyoung wants to collaborate with pop star, Doja Cat. They would also want to try hip-hop concept if ever given the chance.
Concert Continues
Brave Girls move on to perform more songs for their audience that night. To continue the interactions with fans even through their performance, they asked fans to participate in doing a hand motion for their song “Easily”.
Yujeong, Minyoung, Eunji and Yuna all perform their hit tracks like “Rollin‘“, “Chi Mat Ba Ram”, and a fan favorite, “High Heels”. Unlike in the past, they weren’t able to perform b-side tracks very often but now they can as they are holding their own tour. Songs like “Whatever”, “Fever”, and “Do You Know” were also showcased at their concert.
Brave Girls end their tour in Los Angeles with a short teary goodbye. They were thankful to the fans who have showed them so much love. They came out once more for a short encore set before officially ending the concert in LA.
