[RECAP] MustB Hold La Señorita Media Meet

MustB made their comeback to the music scene with their new song, “La Señorita” and have held a Media Meet via Zoom on September 16th, 2022 (KST).

Ahead of their 3rd Single Album ‘La Señorita’ release, the 5-members of MustB have released their official music video for the title track.

MustB Media Day!

While they had a difficult media meet with technical difficulties and a little too much translations going from Korean, English and Spanish, MustB were still able to showcase their excitement! They answered several media questions about the new song and told the media present all about it.

They’ve announced that the global release of “La Señorita” is on Monday, September 19th, 2022 so be sure to stream it upon release. The host also introduced who MustB were and gave a little background of who they are and what their name meant.

Ryan K is the producer for La Señorita. Soohyun explained that a certain part Soohyun sang in Spanish was edited.

They then performed the title track. While they didn’t actually sing the song live, we were able to see their choreography. We also learned that Woomin Jang of 1Million did the choreography thanks to his connection to Soohyun. MustB’s Soohyun and Sihoo showcased the Sexy Point dance for everyone.

Dance Challenge

Another thing fans can look forward to upon the release of the single album is the dance challenge. They announced that they’ll be holding the challenge via SNS so be sure to follow them on social media and join the challenge.

Filming La Señorita MV

The five MustB members told us about a funny incident that happened during the music video filming. Since they have scenes where they are dancing on water, it was hard to dance. One particular member, Sihoo had more trouble than the others as he fell in the water. Soohyun revealed he had a video of him falling and laughs at it every time.

They ended their media day with another performance of their song “All Day”!

About La Señorita

The new track is described to be, “filled with a passionate Latin mood the captures the ears of listeners”. It is also said to have, “sensuous rhythmic acoustic guitar strokes and brass sounds that burst out in the chorus”. The song has an addictive melody and acoustic tone. It also has trendy synth-tone which seems to be popular in mainstream today.

The members, Taegeon, Sihoo and Soohyun were able to highlight some of their writing skills through the songwriting process. As described in the media meet, the lyrics are filled with a man’s confession of “I will definitely make you mine”. It is also a concept that showcases MustB’s growth throughout the years; from being young boys to now, cooler young men.

What captured the audience was the heavy use of Spanish lyrics that not only gave the song a sexy Latin-style, but it rhymed with the Korean lyrics in the track.

They have revealed that, “La Señorita” is a song for their fans. They state, “‘La Señorita’ is a tribute to the fans around the world who showed MustB their infinite love during the group’s world tour”.
