Won Soju makes its debut in the United States! Jay Park, a South Korean rapper, founded Won Soju, the nation’s first rapper-owned alcoholic beverage company. Jay Park made the decision to embark on this new endeavor after taking inspiration from American celebrities who have their own liquor brand, such as Drake and Kendall Jenner. The Los Angeles launch party, hosted at Intercrew LA, kicked off the series of launch events with a star-studded roster. It featured people like Grammy-winning musician Anderson Paak and well-known worldwide DJ Kim Lee, to name a few.
The Won Soju Launch Party LA Attendees
A red carpet welcomes attendees as they enter the venue. Celebrities and influencers make their way down the pathway decked out in their finest attire. For press interviews and photos, they pause to chat and pose. After that, upon entering Intercrew LA, everyone is met by a sophisticated space with Won Soju branding along the walls, a captivating ice-sculpted bar, and a collection of Won Soju bottles on display.
As the evening progresses, the audience is treated to a dazzling lineup of entertainers. KRNFX, the beatboxer extraordinaire, took the stage and wowed the audience with his mind-bending vocal skills. Year of the Ox, the dynamic Korean rap duo, left the crowd breathless with their unique lyricism and stage presence. Then came the highlight of the night – the one and only Jay Park, who delivered a showstopping performance including “All I Wanna Do” and “Mommae”.
Going Global
The Soju brand offered a selection of delectable cocktails that were simply amazing. For instance, “The strawberry-won,” a delicious concoction that mixes the smoothness of Soju with the sweetness of strawberries, is one of the audience favorites. Also, the event featured Soju-infused granitas, a sweet treat that perfectly complemented the evening’s festivities. Not to be forgotten, an instant ramen bar is made available to guests as a nice treat to end the evening.
The Soju brand shows its kindness by giving the visitors unique mementos of appreciation. Attendees had the option to choose from customized t-shirts or hats in collaboration with VANDYTHEPINK, or engraved bottles of the brand’s signature Soju.
The night was a beautiful start to the series of events for Won Soju’s US debut. The US will soon be able to buy Won Soju; in the meantime, you can order it from their website.
