Seventeen lit up BMO Stadium in Los Angeles on November 9th, 2024, with a night packed full of energy, heart, and unforgettable fan moments. Their long-awaited stadium show brought an incredible set-list and a special connection with their fans (CARATs), who filled the venue to the brim with cheers and light stick waves. The last time the group was here for their own concert was back in 2022 so this was much needed for fans.
The Night Begins
Despite the late start due to fans still waiting outside to enter the venue, the show was one to remember. Opening the concert with their powerful tracks “Fear” and “Fearless,” Seventeen set the tone for a night of dynamic performances, continuing with their recent hit “Maestro.” The members then introduced themselves, expressing how thrilled they were to finally perform in a stadium for a U.S. audience, a milestone they were eager to celebrate. Throughout the night, each unit showcased their signature styles, beginning with the dramatic “Prelude” into “ASH,” followed by the high-energy “CRUSH.”
Unit Stages
The first VCR sequence took the audience into a playful moment with the members riding a subway, adding a lighthearted touch before launching into “Water” and “Monster” by the Hip-Hop Unit. The Performance Unit delivered sensual choreography with “Rain” and “Lilili Yabbay,” while the Vocal Unit charmed fans with “Candy” and the sentimental “Cheers to Youth.”
Seventeen Bring Joy to the Stadium
A fun highlight came with the second VCR, leading into a playful version of “Oh My,” staged with a skit inspired by Jumanji in a jungle scene. Dancers dressed as a penguin, rabbit, and even an alien joined the members, adding humor to an already lively song. Following “Snap Shoot” and the anthemic “God of Music,” the group invited the costume-clad dancers to break dance, infusing even more joy into the stage. The audience even collectively yelled out DJ Khaled during “LOVE, MONEY, FAME” which was definitely something they only heard in the US.
Fan interactions continued with “Home,” as Seventeen taught the crowd the choreography to the chorus, encouraging them to join in. Between VCRs, they teased fans with mentions of songs that didn’t make it to the set list, treating them to snippets of these hits and sharing in the nostalgia. They kept the crowd hyped with favorites like “March” and the explosive “Super.”
“Carat Time” was a heartwarming fan-dedicated moment, followed by Seventeen hopping onto moving carts to get closer to every corner of the stadium. The fans lit up for songs like “Adore U,” “’Bout You,” and “the “Campfire”.
Seventeen say Goodbye
In their final MENTs, the members shared individual reflections and heartfelt messages. Hoshi playfully asked for autotune on his microphone, causing Vernon to joke that the staff should turn his off. Mingyu shared a personal anecdote about seeing the stadium on a vacation to LA, while Dino expressed his happiness at being back after missing the last LA concert. The 8 told everyone about the joy he felt being there which the members agreed with. Joshua mentioned inviting his friends, and DK donned his beloved Dodgers hat. Woozi asked fans to turn their lightsticks red in his honor, and Wonwoo hoped they would all enjoy the concert until the very last note. Seungkwan, touched by the filled stadium, and S.Coups, reminiscing about his special connection with LA, wrapped up the heartfelt MENTs.
The encore kicked off with “Our Dawn is Hotter Than Day,” followed by an electric medley of “Very Nice” that extended into multiple rounds as Seventeen danced and sang alongside CARATs. They gave an encore on top of an encore, returning for “Back It Up,” “Holiday,” and finally more “Aju Nice,” leaving the crowd buzzing long after the night had ended. A Seventeen concert is something everyone should experience.
