As KISS OF LIFE embarked on their first world tour, KISS ROAD, they lit up the House of Blues in Anaheim on December 8th, 2024. Members Julie, Natty, Belle, and Haneul performed for their KISSY fans, showcasing their amazing ability and flexibility. The members sought to show off their appeal, and the evening was a celebration of rawness and abandon. Fans were eagerly awaiting the group’s arrival, with a queue stretching across the whole plaza.
Beginning
As the sound of a car engine purred and the stage lights dimmed, the members strut onto the stage and began with the trio of songs “Get Loud,” “Igloo,” and “Bad News.” The group’s energy was firing on all cylinders as they performed, increasing when KISSY’s erupted in cheers.
KISS OF LIFE effortlessly mixed unreleased tracks, such as “Wine House,” alongside beloved tracks like “Chemistry” and “Too Many Alex.” Each song was a showcase of their dynamic range, Belle’s high notes being a showstopper. They also took a moment to ask fans, “This is our first time in Anaheim, what is famous here?”. KISSY shouted back Disneyland and KISS OF LIFE! A surprising answer that made the members laugh. They then told fans that none of this would have been possible without them and thanked them.
As the group came out in new outfits, they started the next portion of their show with a sultry performance of “Te Quiero.” Then came the KISSY Chair segment, a fan-favorite moment of their world tour. The group welcomed a lucky fan onstage and put her in the hot seat while they performed “Nobody Knows.”
Adding to the fun, they took a break from the action to create a TikTok for their hit song “Igloo.” The playful break along with the high-energy hits “Gentleman” “Sticky” and “My 808” made the perfect blend. They then slowed it down with “Nothing.” Their ability to switch between uplifting melodies and melancholic songs with ease is a major testament to their talent.
Finale
As the main set reached its end and the group gave their goodbyes, they told fans that if they heard them scream and cheer loud enough they will come back out to perform a few more songs. Of course the fans were loud, so the group finished off with “Midas Touch” and their debut song “Shhh.” The crowd roared with chants “One more song! One more song!” before they came back for an encore to slow everything down, take it all in, and share a few more intimate moments with tracks “Bye My Neverland” and “No One But Us.” They concluded the night with the emotionally charged “Back To Me,” leaving the audience feeling like they’d just received a beautiful love letter from the band.
KISS OF LIFE’s remarkable performance demonstrated why they are among the most talked-about groups in the modern era. The up-and-coming talents demonstrated rookie prowess with experienced vigor. Their enthusiasm and self-assurance in their initial efforts point to future possibilities and artistic development. The world tour has become a celebration of their ongoing success rather than simply a show!
