AB6IX In LA: A Recap of The Future at Teragram Ballroom

AB6IX, 4-member South Korean boy group, brought their electrifying energy and talent to the City of Angels on November 12th, 2023. This is part of their world tour, The Future. The Teragram Ballroom, nestled in the heart of LA, was the perfect setting for an unforgettable night with the group.

The Teragram Ballroom, known for its intimate atmosphere, was filled with passionate fans. ABNEW were eager to witness the powerhouse performance by AB6IX. The venue’s walls reverberated with excitement as the anticipation built up for the group’s arrival on stage. While it may be an intimate venue, AB6IX made sure to fill every corner with their presence.

When the clock struck 7PM, the lights dim and the boys appear. AB6IX perform several of their songs including “Resonance”, “Weightless”, and “Loser”. The deafening cheers from the crowd set the tone for a night of non-stop energy and entertainment.

The group, consisting of members Woong, Daehwi, Woojin, and Donghyun showcased their versatility. Each member did this as they seamlessly moved through a dynamic setlist. The songs featured a mix of their chart-topping hits and fan-favorite tracks. The choreography was nothing short of mesmerizing, highlighting the group’s impeccable synchronization and stage presence.

Other tracks that really stood out include “The Answer”, “Savior”, as well as, “Complicated”. For “The Answer” performance, there is a certain part where Woong is carried by the members and he jumps off. Because the roof of the venue seems to be lower than usual, the members threw him a little too high, and he indicated he felt his hair touch the ceiling so he ducked really quickly.

Also, a memorable part of the talk sessions was when the group mention how Hyungwon of MONSTA X composed “Complicated” for them. The song is completely in English and showcased that they are up for the challenge.

“Red Up” really hyped up the crowd as the members performed with high energy and their dance skills were shown at a whole new level.

AB6IX Say Goodbye With A Promise To Return

The boys wore concert t-shirts for their encore and performed two final songs. As the final notes of their encore performance faded away, AB6IX bid farewell to their LA fans. It wasn’t without expressions of gratitude and promises to return, of course. The Future World Tour had undeniably left an indelible mark LA fans. This further solidifies AB6IX’s status as one of K-pop’s talented acts.
