Alex Luu releases his latest project “FOREVER”, a four minute animated piece. It explores the concept of romance through the lens of culture and loving past the boundaries of time.
Based on a long-distance relationship, Luu first wrote this poem for his partner while they were dating. A poet herself, she critiqued Luu’s poem the first time he read it to her and he took on the challenge to write honestly from his heart. Though their time together may be over, their shared memories last a lifetime and are immortalized in this project. Composed by Fictitious Professor and animated by Marcus Burke, “FOREVER” brings the audience into a snapshot of Luu’s life and his experience of discovering the profound, unconditional love for another person.
