ARTMS took the stage at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles on August 31st. This is part of the 2024 ARTMS World Tour Moonshot in US. The venue filled with anticipation as fans, known as OURII, gathered for what was expected to be a memorable night. ARTMS did not disappoint, delivering a performance that was filled with nostalgia and new memories.
The concert kicked off with the song “Birth.” When the lights dimmed and the music started playing, it met with a loud roar of applause from everyone present. As the members entered gracefully and the lights flicked on. The applause grew louder as the fans were prepared for a night to remember.
Throughout the night, JinSoul, HaSeul, Kim Lip, HeeJin, and Choerry, showcase a mix of new tracks off their first album, Dall. This includes “Candy Crush” and “Flower Rhythm.” The ambiance buzzed with energy as OURII waved their lightsticks and sang along. ARTMS used the fans screams and cheers as energy to perform.
ARTMS Solos
The members then had their chance to showcase their talents with special stages. Haseul kicks it off with a performance of her solo “Plastic Candy”. It is a city pop track that talks about the attraction to something that looks fascinating but lacks substance. She also delights the audience with acapella renditions of “One and Only” and “Hula Hoop”. These verses are chosen by fans as a segment for each tour stop. Haseul says, “Time to go back to Loona” before singing “Let Me In”. This track is her solo song that was released back in 2016 during her time in Loona.
Heejin is up next, impressing the audience with her version of Avril Lavigne’s hit song “Girlfriend.” She came out with a rockstar attitude, a guitar and fake tattoos to match. She takes a moment to speak with the crowd, expressing her love for LA. Especially the music that has come from here. Heejin sings a quick snippet of “ViViD” before ending her talk to perform a special Rock English version of “Algorithm”. This highlights her versatility as a performer which received enthusiastic applause from the audience.
The ARTMS Trio
Kim Lip, Choerry, and JinSoul came out next to showcase “Je Ne Sais Quoi.” The trio, known as Odd Eye Circle, introduced themselves, talked with fans, and expressed their happiness to be back in what they called their “unofficial hometown” of Los Angeles. They explained how they were here at this exact venue earlier this year as Odd Eye Circle and how good it feels to be back. They completed their stage with “Air Force One”. The three talented artists working in harmony on stage.
Following the Odd Eye Circle performance all the members came back on stage to perform their version of Taylor Swifts “Cruel Summer”. The song was received with excitement by the crowd bringing a lively and unforeseen element to the nights lineup. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the cover acknowledging the groups talent.
ARTMS then delighted the crowd with what they called “LOONA Time.” Performing “Stylish” and “Satellite” stirred up feelings of nostalgia among fans. The recognizable tunes and dance moves triggered memories of the group, causing fans to sing along and wave their bow-and-arrow-shaped lightsticks enthusiastically.
The End
The show ended with “Virtual Angel,” the title track off their latest album. As the confetti danced in the air, ARTMS expressed their gratitude to the fans and said their goodbyes before leaving the stage. The crowd’s enthusiasm stayed vibrant even after they left the stage, prompting a quick return rocking specially customized tour hoodies! The members danced around the stage interacting with fans as they performed “Hi High” igniting a wave of excitement amongst the audience.
ARTMS’ show at the Orpheum Theatre showcased their talent and unwavering bond with their fans as OURII walked out of the venue with smiles from ear to ear.
