On Monday, March 3rd, 2025, BABYMONSTER made a special appearance at the Grammy Museum, treating fans to an intimate and entertaining night of stories, laughter, and live performances. Moderated by Emily Mei, the event showcased the group’s fun personalities, style preferences, and behind-the-scenes anecdotes, leaving fans even more enamored with the rising stars.
Getting to Know BABYMONSTER
During a lighthearted game of “Who Would Most Likely To…”, the members shared fun tidbits about their personalities to the Grammy audience. ASA and CHIQUITA admitted they have a hard time resisting a good purchase, making them the impulse buyers of the group. AHYEON, ASA, and RAMI are the most adventurous when it comes to trying foods. When asked who would start dancing in public if a BABYMONSTER song played, RAMI and RUKA confidently said they wouldn’t hesitate, with RUKA adding playfully that she can’t resist “DRIP.” CHIQUITA confessed that she would be the first to start laughing in a serious situation. ASA admitted to a relatable habit—saying, “I’m on the way,” even when she hasn’t actually left yet.
If given just one day in Los Angeles, the members had different ideas for their ideal itinerary. CHIQUITA dreams of a beach day, while AHYEON specifically named Venice Beach as a must-visit spot. They also expressed their desire to see the Hollywood Sign, even if just from afar.
Despite their meteoric rise as one of the hottest acts of the year, BABYMONSTER shared how they cope with tough moments. RUKA relaxes in her room with R&B music to unwind. CHIQUITA always calls her mom, whether she’s feeling down or just hungry, showing her closeness to her mother.
Fashion & Personal Style
Each member has a unique sense of their own style. RAMI prefers a casual look with jeans and T-shirts that are comfortable but cool. ASA describes her style as vintage, hip, and lovely. CHIQUITA sticks to hoodies and all-black ensembles. RORA goes for denim or black, embracing a daily casual chic aesthetic. PHARITA enjoys denim-on-denim or leather for a plain yet chic look. RUKA keeps her style versatile and open to anything, while AHYEON favors skinny jeans, denim, black jackets, or fitted dresses. The audience at the Grammy museum loved hearing about their personal styles that were very different from what they’re used to seeing them on stage in.
Each member described their favorite fragrance and what might fit them best. AHYEON prefers the scent of roses, while RUKA enjoys a woodsy fragrance. PHARITA likes vanilla but specifically vanilla bean, and RORA prefers jasmine. CHIQUITA enjoys the scent of cherry, ASA loves peaches, and RAMI favors a light and cool tea tree scent.
Fun Anecdotes About BABYMONSTER
The members revealed a fun moment from the filming of their “Really Like You” music video. A scene required them to eat ramen—and they didn’t just act; they truly ate it all, going back for more because they were hungry!
If a zombie apocalypse were to break out, RAMI would take charge as the strategist, while CHIQUITA hilariously admitted she might laugh, try to befriend a zombie, or simply call her mom for help.
Life in the BABYMONSTER dorm sounds both cozy and chaotic from what they told the Grammy museum audience. RORA is the resident baker, while ASA is the main cook and always prepared with a giant bag of essentials. RUKA and CHIQUITA are the most likely to lounge at home on days off—RORA even called them “lazy!” RUKA is also the most likely to be pranked because she scares easily. PHARITA took mental notes when Emily Mei suggested flickering the lights to spook her.
Favorite Concert Performances
Reflecting on their recent concert, the members shared their favorite moments on stage. PHARITA enjoyed performing “Forever.” ASA said she loved the encores. AHYEON found the sound check to be a special moment.
The members expressed their deep appreciation for their fans, especially after wrapping up their LA concert. The overwhelming support touched them, and they hope to keep strengthening their bond with their growing fanbase.
Audience Q&A Highlights
Fans had burning questions, and BABYMONSTER didn’t disappoint with their answers. When asked about superpowers, RORA and ASA chose time travel, while PHARITA wished for teleportation to travel faster. ASA was asked what hair color she’d like to try next—she answered dark purple, but fans and members playfully suggested neon green or pink. RAMI was curious about American cuisine and mentioned wanting to try brunch, chicken & waffles, pizza, and hot dogs. When asked if they would return next year, PHARITA teased, “Probably? Hopefully? YG, send us back!” RUKA named “CLIK CLAK” as her favorite choreography because of its hip-hop vibe. ASA and Chiquita picked “Billionaire” as their favorite song, while AHYEON selected “Like That.”
The Perfect Ending
BABYMONSTER wrapped up the night in the best way possible—by performing “BILLIONAIRE” and “DRIP,” sending the audience into a frenzy. With their charisma, humor, and undeniable talent, BABYMONSTER left a lasting impression at the Grammy Museum. Fans can only hope this is just the beginning of even bigger things for the group in the future!
The group also just announced that they will be coming back to the US for a continuation of their tour. Make sure to check them out!
