On September 26th, 2023, Singaporean sensations brb. took on Los Angeles’ 1720 venue with an electrifying performance. The night showcased their unique fusion of R&B, funk, and electronic sound, captivating a diverse and enthusiastic audience. With being the second to last stop on their North American tour, they were surely going to end the tour with a bang.
Jessica Domingo
Jessica Domingo, a gifted singer-songwriter recognized for her deep voice, opened the concert. She created the tone with songs from her album Butterfly Paradise and subsequently had the crowd snapping and swaying to “Baby I’ve Been,” a love ballad reflecting on previous relationships. Her approach skillfully combines parts of R&B, pop, and acoustic melodies. With her airy voice, Jessica calmed the audience, she undoubtedly gained new followers.
Lydia Ganada
Lydia Ganada is a rising talent known for her dreamy voice and heartfelt songwriting. Her music has a soothing and ethereal quality that draws listeners in, making her a promising artist on the indie music scene. She captivated the audience with her slow songs, including the heartfelt “I Love You,” and with a unique cover of “Thirsty” by Aespa, showcasing her versatility and depth as an artist. The concert took an exciting turn when she introduced her brother on stage. Together, they electrified the crowd with a remix of her popular song “Party Tonight”. This unexpected collaboration added an element of surprise and energy to the concert, setting the tone for the main act.

brb. has been taking North America by storm with their unique blend of pop and R&B. The group comprises of members Clarence Liew, Auzaie Zie, and Marc Lian. The trio quickly gained traction as they look to create a worldwide influence with their infectious energy. The set-list for the night was a perfect blend of brb.’s hits and new releases. The group performed their popular songs “Wild Child” and “Cool With It”. They were able to easily control the atmosphere by the first note of a song. From dancing and jumping along to the beat of “Sharp Knife” to belting out the lyrics to the emotional “Sad Girl”. Their stage presence exuded confidence, engaging with fans whenever they could.
Marc, one of the group’s members, particularly stood out during the concert. His captivating gaze was a highlight of the night. Capturing the hearts of fans and creating an intimate connection between the artist and the audience. Zie was seen throughout the night taking pictures on his digital camera and even pausing the night to FaceTime his mom to show her the love he has been receiving while on tour. Their charm and quirkiness proved to steal the hearts of the fans as the night was full of cheers and laughter.
To end the night, was the performance of their newest song, “Trippin.” The crowd was bouncing and grooving to the beat. Vibing with the group one last time for the night. brb. reciprocated the energy. They took videos on fan’s phones leaving them with a personal memento from the night. This talented group is on the way to international stardom.
