Exclusive Interview with Mike Isberto

We got to know Mike Isberto through this exclusive interview, so we’ll tell you what we found out about him!

This is more like our experience when meeting him, and what sort of answers he gave!

Interviewing Mike Isberto

Mike Isberto, a singer/song writer from Fullerton, California recently agreed to an interview with HypnoticAsia! We were excited when he agreed right away. Only talking to him online, I knew his internet personality was fun and out going. If you’ve ever talked to someone online and they don’t write ‘haha’, ‘lol’ or anything of that sort, you know how nervous one person can be to meet them, but Mike laughed and everything which made it much easier that day upon meeting him.  That day we went to the Tranquil Tea (@TranquilTea) for the interview with Mike Isberto. We didn’t know the place would be packed, and that’s why we couldn’t hear mike in the audio. Cathy Nguyen[@lilcdawg](fellow YouTube singer) was actually the first to walk in, then Mike walked in with Krystle Tugadai(@krystletugadi). He came and talked to us and that’s when we started to interview him.^^

Mike started off with saying he gets nervous in front of video camera’s but that didn’t stop him. He showed his fun side, yet his serious side when it came to his music and what he loved. He had his  guitar the whole time, which showed us that he loves his guitar. His music is soulful and exciting. When we first interviewed him he said “At the age of six, he began singing, he then took up piano at the age of eight, and at the age of ten he began playing saxophone. It wasn’t until recently, when he started playing guitar and realized, ‘this is my true passion'”. He also said he enjoys performing on stage better then making YouTube videos because he likes interacting with the audience. Up until a few weeks ago he didn’t have very many YouTube videos, but now he is starting to upload more and more videos. =)

After our interview, he sang us an original off his EP “Sweater Weather”! We talked a bit more with him and Krystle and that’s when we found out that she’s an amazing singer too!

Mike’s Performances

After having our interview, we saw him compete and WIN along side Alfa Garcia(@alfa_music) [Interview with Alfa here] at Kollaboration Acoustic 3.  We had interviewed both of them before Kollaboration, and felt very excited and happy for them both when we heard they had both tied.^^

Mike then performed at Music Speaks, to help out his fellow YouTube star and good friend AJ Rafael(@ajrafael ) with a benefit concert for Autism.

Mike Isberto then recently performed at FPAC 2009 this past Sunday(9/13/09) with Aj Rafael, Jr Aquino and Melissa Polinar.

With amazing vocals that has everyone in the crowd listening to him, we hope you love him as much as we do, for his great soulful music and passion for music.
