Legendary Korean pop vocalist Kim Tae Woo will perform a one-night only show entitled Kim Tae Woo Live In NYC on November 13 at Rockwood Music Hall. His appearance at Rockwood Music Hall’s Stage 2 will be an opportunity for fans of g.o.d to catch Kim Tae Woo in a more intimate setting. Kim Tae Woo Live In NYC is organized by 7000 Miles.
Kim Tae Woo debuted as the lead singer of the powerhouse male group g.o.d, which gained notoriety as one of the quintessential first generation K-Pop acts. Kim Tae Woo has recently received increased attention from K-Pop fans, following the release of the g.o.d album “Chapter 8.” He also appeared on the “My Lovely Girl” soundtrack with the stirring love song “Only You.”
Musical direction for his solo performance will be provided by Big Yuki. The performance will be different from many K-Pop concerts in that it will feature live instrumentalization. Kim Tae Woo will collaborate with several local New York City musicians during his performance to deliver a unique experience.
Kim Tae Woo’s solo performance will follow the g.o.d 15th Anniversary Reunion concert which will be held at the Prudential Center in Newark on Sunday, November 9.
Tickets for Kim Tae Woo Live In NYC are priced at $50 and can be purchased through Ticketfly. Attendees must be over 21 with identification to enter. Doors at Rockwood Music Hall will open at 8:45 PM with Kim Tae Woo taking the stage at 9PM.
