[HA ROOKIE SPOTLIGHT] OH MY GIRL

South Korean girl group, OH MY GIRL made their debut on April 20, 2015 under WM Entertainment which is home to boy group B1A4. OH MY GIRL has a total of 8 members, including Mimi, YooA, Arin, Jiho, Seunghee, JinE, Hyojung, and Binnie. They debuted with the song “Cupid” which showcased their great charisma and cute site before they returned later that year with their song “Closer” which showed a whole new color to the group and their vocals. They recently released “Liar Liar” and “Windy Day”.

Lets meet the members of OH MY GIRL!

Choi Hyo Jung (Hyojung) is the leader, vocalist and dancer in OH MY GIRL. She was born on July 28, 1994 making her the oldest member. Her hobbies include singing, watching dramas and variety shows. She can also play the piano. Hyojung is the winner of WM’s auditions in 2014 before debuting with OH MY GIRL in 2015.
Shin Hye Jin (Jin E) is born on January 22, 1995. She grew up with one younger brother and her hobbies include surfing and taking bubble baths. She is the second oldest in OH MY GIRL.
Kim Mihyun (Mimi) is a main rapper, lead dancer and vocalist of the group. The singer was born on May 1, 1995 and her hobbies include listening to music. She is the winner of WM’s auditions in 2013
Yoo Shi Ah (YooA) is born on September 17, 1995 and has one older brother. She is the face of the group, the main dancer and a vocalist. Her hobbies include some alone time and listening to music.
Hyun Seunghee (Seunghee) is known as the second BoA. She is a main vocalist in the group and she was born on January 25, 1996. Some of this members hobbies include watching movies, listening to music, drawing and stretching. She was in top 12 of Super Star K in 2010.
Kim Ji Ho (Jiho) is born on April 4, 1997. She is known as the vocalist as well as the visual. She know two languages, including Korean and Japanese. She has one younger brother and she plays the guitar. The singers’ hobby includes watching movies. She was featured in B1A4’s concert and she trained the longest.
Bae Yubin (Binnie) is born on September 9, 1997 and is the vocalist in the group. Her hobbies include solving problems and discovering new songs. She also knows Japanese. She is formally a member of Prettyn Berry and was a model under YG Entertainment. She is a former trainee under Woollim Entertainment and acted in the drama “High School, Love On”.
Choi Yewon (Arin) is vocalist and youngest member of OH MY GIRL. She was born on June 18, 1999. She has one younger brother and some of her hobbies include watching movies while eating caramel popcorn and coordinating outfits. Arin is also a winner of WM’s auditions in 2013.
