In addition to their upcoming Coachella debut, global J-pop sensations and phenoms YOASOBI will perform two headline shows during their time on the West Coast: in Los Angeles at Shrine Expo Hall on April 18, and San Francisco at The Warfield on April 21. Both shows powered by Crunchyroll, the global anime brand offering fans the ultimate anime experience.
Both shows have officially sold out in just 30 mins for pre-sale and 30 mins for general on sale! The record-breaking phenoms continue to dominate globally with no signs of slowing down. The smash hit song “Idol” is the #1 Song of the Year on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart. Originally released last April, the song smashed records, amassing 22 consecutive weeks in the #1 spot.
The duo will also perform at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards! The yearly awards program celebrates the fan-favorite anime series, characters, and creators across streaming, film, and music. The live ceremony on March 2 will be available to stream on YouTube and Twitch beginning at 6 P.M. JST.
YOASOBI recently unveiled an English version of their hit single “Adventure,” marking the one-year anniversary of its original Japanese release. The J-pop superstars made their U.S. debut last August at 88rising’s Head in the Clouds Festival.
