Jackie Chan’s international fans will now be able to read his 2015 memoir, “Jackie Chan: Never Grow Up, Only Get Older”.
The actor turned to social media to reveal the good news, saying, “I’m so excited because the English version of my memoir is coming in November! Never Grow Up…”
The English version of the memoir, which he co-authored with good friend Zhu Mo, was translated by Singaporean author Jeremy Tiang (“State of Emergency”, “It Never Rains on National Day”).
In a previous interview, Tiang revealed that he actually received an offer from Jackie’s agent to translate the book and got to learn a bit more about the action star by the end of it.
“Never Grow Up” chronicles Jackie’s struggles in making a name in the film industry, as well as his thoughts about retirement and mortality.
However, it was not the first autobiography written by the actor. He previously published, “I Am Jackie Chan: My Life in Action” in 1998, prior to his success in Hollywood following the release of “Rush Hour”.
