[K-Drama Review] 49 Days (2011)

The 2011 drama that has caught the attention of many viewers is the SBS Korean drama, “49 Days”.

49 Days stars many well known actors like singer turned actress Nam Gyuri, Lee Yo Wan, Jo Hyun Jae, Bae Soo Bin, Jung Il Woo and Seo Ji Hye. The Fantasy and Romance genre drama has an average rating of 14.1% and the highest rating at 19.1% receiving first place for it’s time slot. It was 20 episodes long and every episode kept you wanting to watch and know what happens next. The drama has no down points and has you constantly laughing, smiling, and crying.  This drama aired after the SBS drama ‘Sign’ was complete and now ‘City Hunter’ is currently airing in it’s time slot.

This drama’s OST was also great with some of Korea’s best singers singing the songs. The OST featured Jung Yup, Tim, Navi, Shin Jae, Seo Young Eun and many more.

Shin Ji Hyun was enjoying absolute bliss as she was about to marry her fiancé, Kang Min Ho, but her perfect life is shattered when she gets into a car accident that leaves her in a coma. She is given a second chance at life by a reaper, but it comes with a condition: she has to find three people outside of her family who would cry genuine tears for her.
