[K-Drama Review] Rooftop Prince (2012)

The SBS Korean drama “Rooftop Prince” had some of the highest ratings of 3 high rating dramas in it’s time slot. The drama competed against the “The King 2 Hearts” as well as “Equator Man” and received amazing responses from the citizens.

“Rooftop Prince” stars singer and actor Park Yoochun and actress Ha Ji Min. Both famous for their drama’s “Miss Ripley”, “Sungkyunkwan Scandal“, “Padam Padam” and even “Yi San”.  The drama also features many more famous actors, like Lee Tae Sung who starred in “Playful Kiss”, Lee Min Ho who starred in “The Moon That Embraces the Sun” as well as “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” with Yoochun. Choi Woo Shik acted in “Ten” while Jung Suk Won starred in “Creating Destiny” and many more.

Ali,  Baek Ji Young, Xiah Junsu as well as many more sing for this drama and the OST sounds amazing and matches well with the drama.

The drama has a total of 20 Episodes and it’s a romantic, comedy and fantasy drama.  It’s great to watch with the whole family and even with friends. It doesn’t really involve the historical part of the drama except for the first and last episodes, the rest is in the present days.

I recommend everyone to watch this drama and enjoy it with the family.
