ONEUS made a triumphant return to the United States, marking the final US stop of their exhilarating La Dolce Vita tour at the iconic Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles, California. As the curtains rose on Wednesday, April 10th, 2024, fans were treated to a night of K-pop magic, beginning with the dynamic opening act by the promising boy group NXD.
NXD Opens the Show at the Wiltern
Before the actual concert began, RBW’s newest group NXD took the stage with an impromptu basketball game. They then performed their song “Jump”. They then took a minute to introduce themselves to the audience and showed how young and youthful they were. NXD then went to next track “Giddy Up” which excited the crowd. For a new group, they had a pretty large audience with the Wiltern being the venue they were able to perform at. They also mentioned that they were going to be performing at The Source in Orange County that week. At this point, they ToMoons (ONEUS fan name) were hyped and ready for the concert.
ONEUS Final USA Tour Stop
As 7:30PM drew near, the energy in the room was electric and crowd expectation was growing. Waves breaking suddenly filled the venue, preparing the audience for ONEUS’ grand arrival. “Baila Conmigo,” the group’s first song, got the audience excited. Next, they sang the engrossing song “Erase Me.” With a contagious spirit, the members actively interacted with the crowd before to performing “Simulation” and “Full Moon.”
In their usual fashion, ONEUS invited the audience to join them in learning the main dance of “Valkyrie”. The first VCR segment added depth to the experience, showcasing the members’ journey through different states of being, ending in a joyful reunion. The crowd exclaimed after Leedo was seen in a bathtub with a beta fish. The fish was later seen in Seoho’s cup which fell and broke to the crowds dismay. The video took a turn from dark to light as it then showed all the members happily in a room together.
ONEUS Show ToMoons Korea
Transitioning into a medley featuring “Intro: Window,” “Luna,” and “Lit” (the Road to Kingdom version), ONEUS humorously dubbed it the “Korea Tour,” playfully teasing the Wiltern with the prospect of a virtual trip to their home country. Amidst laughter and banter, they acknowledged the changes in their appearance over the month-long tour. Xion’s humorous anecdote about his hair extensions drew laughs from the crowd.
The event went on with passionate songs “Same Scent” and “A Song Written Easily,” filled with genuine crowd interactions. They gave fans a sneak peek by singing a snippet of “To Be or Not to Be,” proving that they were aware of their favorite songs. Emotions ran high during tracks “Unforgettable” and “Stupid Love”. This set the stage for a mesmerizing VCR depicting the members as enchanting mermaids. Returning to the stage in darker attire, ONEUS delivered powerful performances of “Come Back Home” and “Twilight”.
Throughout the concert, the members’ playful camaraderie was evident, with lighthearted bickering and inside jokes adding to the intimate atmosphere. They demonstrated their versatility with performances of “Lion Heart” and “Level Up”.
“Listen to Our Heart”
In a touching moment, ONEUS invited fans to “Listen to our heart,” delivering heartfelt renditions of “Epilogue” and “Hailey’s Comet” while seated. The stage was soon transformed into a playground as Xion engaged in a playful tug-of-war with the staff over stools, much to the delight of the audience.
During this heartfelt segment, each member expressed their gratitude to fans, staff, and fellow artists, promising an exciting future with upcoming albums and tours. Specifically to look out for their comeback happening really soon! With a burst of energy, ONEUS delivered exhilarating performances of “Bring It On” and “No Diggity,” leaving the audience clamoring for more.
Encore
Returning for the encore, the members wore Dodgers jerseys since they were in LA. As they performed crowd favorites like “Black Mirror” and “Bbuseyo,” they took the time to interact with fans, sharing personal anecdotes and capturing memorable moments. The members even ran through the Wiltern, getting up close to their fans.
As the night drew to a close, they performed “Life is Beautiful” and the infectious “Shut Up Crazy Hot”. ONEUS left an impression on the audience, showcasing their boundless talent and unwavering passion. With promises of future comebacks and tours, they bid farewell, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the next chapter in their journey as they sang the track “Last Song”.
