On June 23 & 24th, K-POP fans from around the globe gather together for KCON NY 2018. The event was held at the Prudential Center in New York and held 70 programs, 75 panel guests and 10 big name K-POP idols and artists.
KCON NY 2018 that is presented by Toyota had new panels with famous YouTubers, celebrities, and journalists. This year, they also added new segments and stages at the convention for fans to get closer with the special guests of the evening and their favorite KPOP idols. KCON made sure to upload their KCON recaps soon after the convention was done.
The convention and concert featured artists: EXID, Golden Child, fromis_9, Super Junior, Heize, Pentagon, Stray Kids, Wanna One, Red Velvet and NCT 127. Some of the artists had mini fanmeetings, rookie stages on the convention stage as well as joining MC’s for a live talk with the fans.
The convention was outdoors once again but some of the events were indoors. The concert was also indoors at the Prudential Center. Fans have revealed that this year’s KCON NY (New York) could be considered as the largest and nicest Korean concert and convention held in New York since their start.
