About Amanda Ong

Amanda Ong is an acoustic singer-songwriter born and bred in Singapore. Beguiled into the world of music from a young age, she has been writing original songs since she was 17, drawing inspiration from her personal experiences. She dabbles in indie-pop, with a splash of dodie and a pinch of Zee Avi. To date, her songs have garnered listeners in 86 countries. She also dabbles in a cappella on her own and with her group, New Recording 47.

About New Recording 47

New Recording 47 is a five-member contemporary a cappella group from Singapore. Founded in 2018, they have been combining the style of a cappella into iconic local songs. The group hopes to bring a new fusion of genres that excites the Singaporean public.
