5-Member acapella group, New Recording 47 (also known as NR47) are featured as our next artist on Music Is My Therapy.
The group is known for their wonderful acapella tracks and has been featured through various Spotify playlists! They are popular in Singapore for their style of music which combines acappella with a hint of pop making the their tracks sound amazing and trendy.
Most recently, they released their song “What It Used To Be” and their member Amanda Ong released several solo tracks as well.

About New Recording 47
New Recording 47 is a five-member contemporary acappella group from Singapore founded in 2018. Combining the style of acappella into iconic local songs, the group hopes to bring a new fusion of genres that excites the Singaporean public. From festivals like Esplanade’s Red Dot August to Sentosa Island Lights, they have brought gazes of wonder to their audiences with their special vocal effects and unique remakes of local songs. Most recently, they were featured in Shopee’s GSS 6.6 Sale 2021 jingle.
To date, their songs have been featured on Spotify playlists such as Rising 65, New Music Friday Singapore, New Music Friday Malaysia, Fresh Finds SG & MY, and Salam Raya.
