For those into the hip-hop scene in Korea, you would recognize the name and raps of P-Type!
P-Type is finally back in the scene with more than just a feature for the track “Gwanghwamun” which tells a personal story about him and which those who lived there around the same generation would understand. The track features Taewan aka C-Luv who’s sweet vocals blend in well with the beats and rap.
1theK says, “P-Type made the grounds of hip-hop scene with GARION and VerbalJint. From the day he held the mike, it’s already been 16 years and before releasing his 4th regular album, he is showing the pre-opening single ‘Gwanghwamun’.
‘Gwanghwamun’ is a song that talks about Gwanghamun and Jongno where P-Type spent most of his teenage life and 20s. It goes beyond a simple remembrance but it talks about stranger living in the specific time and space, and self-reflection of himself at the moment.”
