On August 13, 2011, fans of group AZIATIX gathered at the Key Club in Hollywood to show their support for the release of their “Nocturnal” Album.
The trio Aziatix came from Korea to put on an amazing showcase for their fans in Los Angeles and the show didn’t disappoint. The night started at sound 8pm when they let everyone into the Key Club, at first, everyone just stood around listening to music, then all of a sudden, everyone looked at the stage, looked at each other and dashed to be front row directly at the stage. There was a good amount of people at the show and many fans as well as friends to the groups performing were present.
At around 8:30pm, the show started with a live DJ (DJ Warrior) and everyone listened to music and cheered for the performers to come out. At 9PM sharp, Russell W. + CTB From Trapt (a Multiplatinum producer for Jay-Z & Lupe Fiasco) came out and performed about 4 songs and had the crowed hyped up and ready for the next performing act. Around 9:30pm, PK (founder of Kollaboration and host or Beats Per M-Net) came out to start hosting the show. He invited a fan to show off his dance moves on stage then introduced the next performers.
PK introduced to the stage KO The Legend & LIL C (a “So You Think You Can Dance” Judge & Hip Hop Artist). They had the crowed excited to see Aziatix. Next to the stage was LA based electro-hop group IAMMEDIC which sang only 2 songs but the audience loved it and fans loved the guys and their music. They even gave out free CD’s at the show, so many fans were happy about that.
Of course, after all the opening performers were finished, PK introduced the one and only AZIATIX to the stage. We were at the stage dead center and had an amazing view of the performance. Nicky Lee, Eddie Shin and Flowsik came out and looked great! They came out singing ‘Whatchu Know About Us’ and EVERYONE sang along. Every song the group sang, the audience was loud and singing along with the members. Because HypnoticAsia was filming the performances, you get to see ALL the songs they performed. At some point in the show, Flowsik raps into one of our camera’s and Nicky Lee takes our camera and self-cam’s himself singing! The members showed off amazing stage presence and they made their fans very happy.
Many people were there to support them like Kollaboration, M-Net, artists like Joe Hahn of Linkin Park, Dawen and of course, Aziatix’s producer, Jae Chong who is originally from group SOLID.
Dance Crew, We Are Heroes (Champions of the hit TV show “Americas Best Dance Crew” Season 2) were also present and danced for the crowd.
Enough of my rambling on, you can watch all the performances by Aziatix HERE.
