ENHYPEN start the U.S. leg of their first world tour at Anaheim’s Honda Center on October 2nd, 2022! The group made their debut in November 2020, but have already been able to sell out an arena world tour. Inspired by the ‘hyphen(-)’ that connects one word to another, ENHYPEN means that seven different boys connect to discover one another and grow together. They’ve definitely shown us how quickly they have grown with just the start of this tour.
ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR ‘MANIFESTO’ kicked off in September with two sold-out shows in Seoul. The U.S. starts off with two nights in Anaheim, CA (October 2nd and 3rd) with the second night being added later and still selling out.
ENHYPEN started off the concert with their debut song, “Given-Taken” before moving on to B-side tracks “Flicker” and “Not for Sale”. We noticed that aside from title tracks, there are definitely a good amount of B-sides that are fan favorites, for different reasons. For instance, “Polaroid Love” became a popular TikTok track and is known by more than just their fans, ENGENE. There are also songs where the audience reacted to both the lyrics and choreography, for instance, “Let Me In (20 Cube)”.
The 7-member boy group from HYBE performed other hit tunes such as, “Fever”, “Drunk-Dazed” and their latest tracks, “Future Perfect (Pass the Mic)” and “ParadoXXX Invasion”.
Encore
The screams in the arena were deafening at all times; no matter if the group was performing or just speaking to the audience. They were definitely louder for member Sunoo who was missing the last time they were in CA. One of the members, Jake, mentioned during the ending MENT (remarks) that ENGENES are the reason why he wakes up and the reason why he smiles. With that they decided to sing their last song, “SHOUT OUT” not once, but twice!
With a ton of confetti and streamers, artistic VCRs and 5 outfit changes, it was clear that they put a lot of thought and work into this concert. It was also very evident that the production was of high quality.
