GROOVL1N’s very own founder, Ravi (of VIXX), and Xydo successfully complete their U.S. tour in Los Angeles! The tour was originally meant to feature four artists, but unfortunately Nafla and Coldbay were not able to attend the tour.
The two artists took the stage at The Teragram Ballroom in LA on Sunday, May 22nd, 2022! Fans lined up early to engage with these two talents in a fan sign, group photo and hi-touch. For the concert, they were joined by DJ Sam Hong.
Xydo
As Xydo started off the concert, he mentioned that he was really nervous; but of course no one can tell as he performed his songs flawlessly. As he had the first half of the concert, he sang quite of bit of his tracks such as “Muse”, “Paradigm”, “Hello”, and a fan favorite “OOTD”. He also performed his OST “Free” from the recent hit drama “Twenty-Five Twenty-One”. Xydo showed plenty of fan service; responding to fans’ declarations of love and how handsome he is in person. Despite being first and performing a good amount of tracks, once it was time for him to go, fans were disappointed! Of course this wasn’t the last we’d see of him during the concert.
Ravi
Right before embarking on this US tour, Ravi had completed his “REVOIR” concerts in South Korea. Ravi performed songs such as “Virus”, “Ani”, “Cardigan”, and “1, 2, 3”. Being from the group VIXX, fans of the group also attended and repped with their Starlight light sticks. For fans that had seen him in the past in the US when he performed with VIXX, they were pleasantly greeted with an older and much more confident Ravi. For newer fans, as he was a permanent cast member of popular KBS variety show, 1 Night 2 Days, this was a different side of him to see. Being known as a veteran rapper and dancer, he didn’t disappoint and showed off all of his charms on stage; body waves and all.
Encore
At the end of the concert, Xydo came back out to perform tracks with Ravi, such as, “Mint Chocolate” and “OOTD”. Of course the fan service continued with Ravi taking off his shirt and throwing it into the crowd. Xydo and Ravi both synchronized many water throwing moments. After the second or third time, fans in the front knew they were in the splash zone and enjoyed it.
Looking forward to seeing more of these artists in the future. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait a little longer for Ravi’s return as he’ll be carrying out his mandatory military service soon.
