South Korean singer and songwriter, Junny, makes his first stop on the “blanc” tour in Los Angeles, California!
Junny’s fans brave the heat (and the streets of LA) as they stand in line to enter the venue. On September 4th, 2022, Junny held his first US stop on the “blanc” tour at 1720 in LA. It was the hottest day of the year in LA and the venue’s air conditioning was practically non-existent but nothing stopped these dedicated fans from seeing their artist perform!
The ‘Blanc’ Pre-Show
Before it was Junny’s time to hit the stage, a few local artists were present! Opening the show was LA native, Justin Park who is well-known for his hit singles and good looks. DJing for him was the one and only, MSTR RCKS (Peter). The singer and songwriter performed many of his hit songs like “On The Low” and “Like We Used To”. He brought to the stage, Zane Taylor, the newest addition to the 5A Label family. They performed their brand new single, “Sunset Years” together for the first time since its release on Friday, September 2nd.
Sunset Years is a song about weathering incredible hardships. Our goal was to create a record that gave a sense of “Everything’s going to be alright.” Our reflections were melancholy. The title “Sunset Years” gives reflection on this simple message.

Zane performed an unreleased track during the set too. Justin also performed a fan-favorite, “Adore You, Dior You” with the help of Zane.
Justin never fails to hype the crowd with his incredible energy and vibe. He always interacts with his fans before the show, during the show, and after. Justin is also opening for Junny in San Francisco (9/5) and Seattle (9/7).
Soon after Justin left the stage, DJ MinJeong was seen DJing for about 15 minutes before it was Junny’s time to join the stage.
Junny Time!
At approximately 8PM, Junny jumped on stage to greet his fans who have been waiting for him to perform. He began his set with “Color Me” which is originally a duet with Chungha. Instead, his fans sang alongside their favorite artist.
Junny wore a white Dior shirt and a black vest to showcase his incredible style. He performed his most recent track, “Not About You” which he explained was about his ex. A fan shouted “do you need another one?” which he replied with “Maybe” and his fans practically fainted.
Also on this ‘blanc’ tour, Junny sang some of his tracks including, “Trust”, “For The Weekend”, “Movie”, and more.
Of course, it couldn’t be a Junny tour without the song “By My Side” which had the audience singing along. It is definitely a fan-favorite.
He ended the concert with his song “Thank You”. While the entire show was approximately two hours, Junny’s set was about an hour long. Next time Junny is in town, fans are hoping for a longer set and a bigger venue that matches Junny’s vibe.
