The idol group is one of few successful co-ed groups in South Korea and are known to be popular overseas. Most recently, the members were focusing on their own solo ventures while member J.Seph completed his mandatory military service.
Wild KARD 2022 in Los Angeles
KARD started off with their pre-debut and debut tracks “Don’t Recall”, “Hola Hola”, and “Oh NaNa”.
Their songs, such as “Bomb Bomb” and “Dumb Litty”, are definitely full of high energy. It had the crowd responding to it by singing and dancing along. KARD also gave special solo and unit performances like BM performed “Intentions”, Jiwoo’s cover of The Pretty Reckless’ song, “My Medicine”, and a Somin/J.Seph duet covering “Bam Bam” by Camila Cabello and Ed Shereen.
BM’s Hometown!
This is their third solo concert in LA so they are definitely veterans in dealing with the “LA Crowd”. As this is also BM’s hometown concert, he was definitely hyped which energized the crowd and the other members. With family and friends in the audience, this was a special stop on the tour. BM never fails to bring his A-game to the City of Angels.
For those seated in the front during BM’s solo or the encore stages, you were unknowingly in the wet zone as the members constantly sprayed water at the crowd; someone should probably mention to them that California is in a drought. But regardless, it the fans were pretty soaked after the several bottles of water that were sprayed. Hilariously, J.Seph also tried spraying water at the crowd but failed as he splashed Jiwoo in the face. Let’s just say, she was a good sport about it as she laughed it off after playfully “beating him up”.
Towards the end of the concert, KARD performed their newest track “Ring the Alarm”. Hidden KARD made sure to yell their fan chants. KARD ended the concert with another performance of “Dumb Litty” which is a fan-favorite. They said their goodbyes with a promise to always return to Los Angeles for their tours.
Until next time, be sure to stream KARD’s albums on all streaming platforms and watch their great music videos via their channel.
