2-Years and 4-months after their world tour ‘ODE TO YOU’, SEVENTEEN return to The Forum in Inglewood, CA (Los Angeles) on August 17, 2022. The K-POP performance powerhouse are currently embarking on their ‘Be The Sun’ tour of 19 cities around the world.
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the youngest SEVENTEEN member, Dino, had to sit out of the LA concert.
The concert started off with the track “HOT” from their 4th studio album Face the Sun. This is an album which rendered SEVENTEEN one of the only two artists in K-POP history alongside BTS to surpass the 2 million mark for first-week album sales. The group then went on to perform “March” and “Hit” before introducing themselves to their fans, Carat.
SEVENTEEN definitely know how to hype up their audience by making sure their energy levels are high even while talking to them. A fan activity they decided to use throughout the concert was this saying (you had to be there to see it):
SEVENTEEN Sub-Units!
The group then went on to perform unit stages. SEVENTEEN has 13 members so it makes sense that they also have 3 units within the group (Vocal, Performance, and Hip-Hop). The stage setup during all these performances is definitely memorable and worked perfectly for their arrangement.
A stage set that visualizes the Sun – a key motif that represents SEVENTEEN’s aspiration to reach

new heights, a 3-tiered LED screen and diverse transitions in the set arrangement have been
incorporated into the show to fully capture the level of energy to be unleashed after the long wait.
Speaking of memorable stages, there’s a section of the concert that has a sort of story-line that they used while performing “Mansae”, “Left and Right”, and “Very Nice”. This part had fans rolling in laughter as the members showcased their funny skits on stage.
Jeonghan recently underwent elbow surgery and was promoting the newest song with his arm in a brace. To ensure his arm is healing correctly, he performed at the concert with it as well even though he only used it while dancing. The idol had a different brace that matched his outfits as the concert went on.
The popular South Korean boy group also performed their latest tracks “Darl+ing” as well as “_World”. To make it a memorable concert, they ended with “Very Nice” (or what fans call “Never ending Very Nice”) again where they spotlighted certain fans to sing and dance. This specific performance lasted for a while and they repeatedly kept playing the same part of the song.
The group thanked their fans and promised that LA will always be included in their tours! We hope LA Carats had a wonderful time with SEVENTEEN like we did.
