The 8-member, South Korean boy group, ATEEZ, flew to the USA for their latest tour, The Fellowship: Beginning Of The End. They ended their tour in Los Angeles with sold out nights at The Forum in Inglewood, California. HypnoticAsia attended the Sunday, January 30th concert thanks to My Music Taste!
Comparing this tour to their last tour in 2019, they have grown massively. The Expedition Tour in LA was held at the Globe Theatre and while it was sold out, it only held approximately 800 people. Now, they are holding their tour at the famous LA venue, The Forum which holds 17,500 people. Not only that, but they had to add another show in LA due to their popularity!
COVID-19 Shut Down 2020 Tour
Originally, ATEEZ were supposed to hold a US Tour in April 2020, which their LA show was also sold out at the time, but the COVID-19 pandemic canceled all events. Now, the members are finally able to travel and hold in-person concerts for ATINY around the world.
“8 Makes One Team!” ATEEZ
Starting at approximately 7:45PM, the “Pirate Kings” showcased their amazing charisma and talents on stage. The full-scale concert lasted a little longer than 2.5 hours with 27 songs performed.
ATEEZ began their concert with their hit track, “Wonderland (Kingdom Version)” and sported star studded black suits. With a powerful intro, it makes sense that they’ll have a short break to introduce themselves to LA ATINY! ATEEZ consists of 8 mighty members who make up one team: the Captain (Leader), Hongjoong, Mingi, San, Wooyoung, Yeosang, Seunghwa, Yunho and their youngest member, Jongho.
ATINY Fill The Forum
Since ATINY were hyped up, the boys continued their concert by performing their debut hit song, “Pirate King”, as well as, “Say My Name”. Regardless of how loud the music was at The Forum, ATINY could be clearly heard in every song. As the concert continued, the group took time to interact with fans. They changed multiple times throughout the night and performed tracks like “Treasure,” “Hala Hala,” “Answer,” “Thanxx” and more. They had also prepared multiple VCR’s for fans.
Unfortunately, halfway through the concert, the youngest member and main vocalist, Jongho hurt his ankle and was unable to continue. Hongjoong announced that he was being treated backstage for his injuries during a ment. ATINY did a great job singing in his place. We are happy to announce that he is doing alright and he did participate during the 2nd night of the LA stop according to ATINY who went the 2nd night.
To end their concert, the group performed their latest hit track, “Turbulence”. Overall, the concert was a hit and Ateez held a great show. The sold out venues already had us expecting this and the group didn’t disappoint. Be sure not to miss the next concert next time this group is in town!
