Japanese boy group, BE:FIRST, held their 1st One Man Tour “BE:1” in Japan. This serves as the groups first arena performance at Yoyogi National Stadium First Gymnasium since their debut. The members recently released their song “BOOM BOOM BACK” which has been doing well on the charts.
Since it’s release, the track has topped the Billboard Japan charts at #1 and their music video has well over 6 million views. Not only that, but the concert was the first time the performance has been show.
The One Man Tour “BE:1”
7-Member boy group, BE:FIRST showcase their strong abilities through their One Man Tour. Members SOTA, SHUNTO, MANATO, RYUHEI, JUNON, RYOKI, and LEO perform many of their songs live for the full arena.
The stream started with a video of the members hacking into a system and working together under various disguises to reach their goal. From hackers to idols, the mission was complete when they reached the stage at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium. They were met by almost 13,000 fans who filled the arena to see the boy group perform.
BE:FIRST Is:
Charismatic
The concert began right away as BE:FIRST arrived on stage to perform their first song “BF Is…”. They were seen in classy black suits that exhibited their charismatic charms. They didn’t hesitate to jump into the next track which was “Scream”.
Throughout the One Man Tour “BE:1”, they’ve unveiled never before seen performances that exposed their talents in multiple areas. BE:FIRST are a group of individuals who are experienced in dance, rap and vocals. They are an all around talented group.
Cute
After performing several songs, it was time to change up the mood. The group presented a cuter side with smiles and peace signs throughout their next couple of songs. BE:FIRST performed “Be Free” and then walked around the extended stages for their song “Don’t Wake Me Up”. While they walked around, you can really see how filled the arena was with excited and passionate fans.
It wasn’t until 20 minutes later that the group talked with their fans in attendance. And just a few moments later, it was right back to presenting more performances for them.
Talented
This may be BE:FIRST’s first arena tour, but they flaunted their skills. Throughout their performances, they used the large stage well and filled it with great performances, and their wonderful stage presence.
Of course they were able to perform together as one but through this tour, they split into two units to perform two different tracks. What we’ll call the vocal team, comprised of JUNON, LEO, MANATO and RYUHEI, performed their song “Softly”. They still wore the classy black suits but came out with mic stands where they were seen dancing with them. This song really exposes their strong vocal skills.
After a short video titled “You’re My Besty” where they were seen with the popular SONIC statue and playing racing games, the remaining 3 members came to the stage to perform in new outfits. We’ll call this the rap unit as RYOKI, SHUNTO and SOTA performed “SPIN!”.
New Stage Outfits
Instead of the classy black suits, the group returned as whole sporting a more causal and colorful look. They seem to have a lot of fun on stage as they perform several more songs. A performance that really stood out was “Kick Start” where they were seen showcasing their vocal stability regardless of their powerful choreography.
It was soon time for their newest track, “Boom Boom Back”! This performance is their first and it expressed their excellence in all areas, especially synchronization while singing live.
Coming To An End
Another video showed that not only promoted the newest song but also their awards and high ranks they’ve achieved. Then it was time for some messages BE:FIRST filmed prior to the concert. This led right into the new performance of “Message” and the boys were seen in yet, another outfit.
It was almost time for goodbyes as they hinted this with the song “Bye-Good-Bye” before really thanking their fans for coming and saying their last words for the tour.
BE:FIRST ended their exciting first concert with the song “Gifted” which allowed the group to end on a strong note. While “Gifted” was their debut track, it’s a song that really showcased their talents as a group and allowed them to gain many fans in the process.
Until next time, lets look forward to BE:FIRST’s continued success. Also, check out collaboration track by Show Minor Savage and Aile the Shota, “SUPER ICY” featuring members SOTA & MANATO.
