SNSD Sooyoung and Jung Kyung Ho Confirm Relationship + Explain Why It Was Kept A Secret

After denying their relationship multiple times, Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung and Jung Kyung Ho finally confirmed their relationship.

On January 3, Newsen spoke with a representative of Jung Kyung Ho’s agency, who said, “Jung Kyung Ho and Soo Young are dating. They were friends before and became a couple last year.”

Sooyoung’s agency also stated, “They were close colleagues before becoming close last year.”

Ahead of this confirmation, Sooyoung and Jung Kyung Ho were rumored to be dating in February and December of 2013, making January 3’s incident the third time they’ve been swept by dating rumors.

At the time, both sides told Newsen, “Jung Kyung Ho and Sooyoung are close, but not dating. They got to know each other through church and are close colleagues.”

But after three dating rumors, they finally confirmed the relationship.

Meanwhile, Sooyoung debuted in 2007 with SNSD. She has appeared in the movie Hello Schoolgirl, tvN’s The 3rd Hospital, and Dating Agency Cyrano, becoming an acting-dol. She is currently acting as MC on SBS’ One Night of TV Entertainment with Yoon Do Hyun, being praised for her confident hosting abilities.

Jung Kyung Ho debuted in 2004 through KBS’ I’m Sorry, I Love You.. He has since them appeared in MBC’s Time Before Dog and Wolf, SBS’ Smile, You, the movie Gangster High and Running Turtle. He recently starred in Fasten Your Seatbelt, acting as a hallyu star who suffers from multiple phobias.

Jung Kyung Ho Kept the Relationship a Secret for SNSD Sooyoung

As the second star couple to be revealed in 2014, Jung Kyung Ho had tried to keep his relationship with Sooyoung a secret for her.

On January 3, enews spoke with Jung Kyung Ho’s agency, Fantagio, who stated, “Jung Kyung Ho and Sooyoung have been dating for about a year.”

The agency added, “As they’re both colleagues at Chung Ang University’s Department of Drama and Cinema and also devoted Christians, the two become close after having a lot in common.”

“Jung Kyung Ho didn’t let the relationship be known to be considerate towards Sooyoung, who is still young,” said the agency. “We hope that everyone will look at them kindly as they date.”

After one news platform released photos of Jung Kyung Ho and Sooyoung together, both parties confirmed the relationship after denying it two times in 2013.

Awhile after the first dating rumor, Jung Kyung Ho stated on a radio program that he was dating a regular citizen.
