K-pop phenomenon Twice lit up the stage at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for their eagerly awaited encore performance in a blaze of neon and glitter. Excitement was in the air as fans from all around the world flocked to see their favorite idols perform live.
Opening Act: VCHA
VCHA, a unique opening act, stormed the stage to start the evening off. Their performance of “Only One” kicked off an evening of unmatched fun and excitement. This is their newest single that was released the day before the concert. The audience cheered them on as they took the stage for the first time, demonstrating their passion. A meaningful moment of gratitude was also shared by VCHA with their parents and friends in the crowd. This heartfelt gesture won over many admirers. However, one notable absence was felt as Kaylee was missing from the lineup, leaving fans curious and concerned. The new girl group also performed their tracks “Y.O.Universe” and “Girls of the Year” before leaving the stage.
Act 1: Twice
The moment that everyone had been waiting for finally arrived as excitement peaked: Twice took the stage to thunderous cheers. As the VCR began with the remix of “Set Me Free” in the background, the group came out right at that moment to start the concert with that performance. Following with “I Can’t Stop Me,” the group opened their concert and captivated the crowd right away with their flawless voices and captivating dance. After introductions, Jihyo chatted with fans and shared memories of previous tour stops. Sana expressed her thanks for the chance to play in Las Vegas for the first time.
Twice presented hit after hit over the evening, including amazing tracks “Go Hard” and “Moonlight Sunrise,” which saw the group move up to a larger platform to be closer to their devoted fans. The emotional session, in which they interacted personally with the audience, was one of the evening’s highlights. From Dahyun’s emotional rendition of “Try” to Chaeyoung’s spontaneous rap, each member amazed the audience with their unique abilities. Every member had a solo stage that both excited the fans and had them on edge on who will come out next. Jihyo also mentioned that during the “Ready To Be’ tour, she herself has changed her solo performances three times due to her solo album release. Also, with some quick banter between members, we were able to decipher that Jeongyeon is working on a solo debut!
Act 2: Live Band
Live band performances and captivating VCRs accompanied each performance as the show flowed smoothly between songs. From the encouraging hit “Feel Special” to the upbeat hit “Fancy,” Twice had the crowd up and dancing. From their latest album, Twice performed their track “I Got You”, and “One Spark” which the audience joined in with fan chants. As this long running girl group has many title tracks, they even treated fans to a medley of hits.
The energy in the stadium was palpable as the group performed fan-favorite tracks like “The Feels” and “Talk That Talk,” leaving fans begging for more. During a break, a VCR equipped to get the crowd dancing was played and is not a new one for JYP Entertainment artist fans.
Final Act: Encore
As the night drew to a close, Twice returned for an encore, with their infamous wheel of encore songs. Despite landing on “Bloom”, the group performed the tracks “Look at Me” and “Rush” as their final songs of the night. In a final heartfelt moment, the members expressed their gratitude to staff and fans, reflecting on their journey to stardom.
Fans had memories that will last a lifetime when the lights went down and the applause faded into the night. They left their stamp on Las Vegas and the hearts of fans worldwide. Twice has once again demonstrated why they are among the biggest artists in K-pop.
